Important Required Courses
All licensed real estate agents are required to take continuing education classes to renew their licenses. For agent in their first licensing renewal period, they are required to take 60 hours of education. Agents that are outside of their first renewal period are required to take 30 hours of education.
As part of these continuing education hours, there are two important classes required for Washington agents:
Washington Core Curriculum
The Washington Department of Licensing requires every agent to take this 3-hour law course for every renewal period. Windermere Education offers this class once every month in a live-lecture setting, and also as an online class which can be taken at any time. The three clock hours in this course can be used towards your total amount of required education hours for your license renewal.
NAR Code of Ethics
To remain in good standing with the National Association of Realtors (NAR), all members are required to take this 3-hour course before December 31st, 2012. All new agents must take this course before they have been a member of the National Association of Realtors for a year.
Windermere Education offers both of these courses in a live-lecture setting. The next time each class is scheduled is:
